I don’t get it?

There’s a big controversy that the authors changed the last name of the family and all the books were destroyed. People have been saying no their last name was spelled -stain like the authors’ own. This proves they existed unless this is a doctored image.  I even remember having some of these as a kid with this same spelling. I just couldn’t prove it because I don’t have the books anymore.
