Greg Universe canonically made the house Steven lives in, the clothes Steven wears, it’s from him, all those food, from him, all of Steven’s toys and other electronics, gadgets and furnitures, everything from Greg and he still managed to raise Steven, and I will literally not forgive anyone who shits on him

And he literally doesn’t live in this house he paid for to give the Crystal Gems their space. He lives in his car instead. That’s devotion.

I can’t remember, does it ever explain why he lives in his car instead of the house? Is it just because the gems make him nervous or something else?

I don’t think it was ever explained, but I figured it was because they didn’t have a second bedroom for him, and that he’d be uncomfortable living with the gems full time.
