ABC just picked up a pilot for a crime drama called “Quantico” for their 2015-2016 prime time season. According to IMDB the description states that the show is “a look at the lives of young FBI recruits training at the Quantico base in Virginia.”
Seems like any other typical prime time crime drama but here’s the catch: the show stars lead actress Priyanka Chopra (she’ll be the first bollywood actress to lead in an American network primetime tv show). To top that, the show has an incredibly diverse cast (esp. main cast) including Latin@ actors, Desi actors, Black actors, and Arab actors, including an Arab hijabi actress. Directed by Mark Munden, the main cast includes Anjuanue Ellis, Jake McLaughlan, Yasmine Al-Massri, Anna Khaja, Juanita Taylor, Dougray Scott, TJ Hassan, Jason Lyke and Tate Ellington.
