I know that the past few days I’ve been begging around for help but tonight is the night it really matters. We’ve had strong support all around but we need it twice as bad now, because this is the final round. 

If you’re considering voting for Firefly, please wait a second. Pushing Daisies is a show that was well ahead of its time with the humour, characters, themes, and the entire aesthetic of the show. I guarantee that if you watch it now you will enjoy it wholeheartedly (if you want to watch it check here for links and here for group screenings every weekend). It is such a feel good show and even if this poll doesn’t bring it back we should show the cast and crew AND the director Bryan Fuller, who has actively been checking the poll daily, that this show was and is still loved by many. If it actually brings it back then that would be insane, but in the case that it doesn’t, at least we’ve shown our support and that might be enough to get the director thinking about a successful reboot.

While Firefly is probably good too, it got a movie after it got cancelled. Pushing Daisies had nothing but rumours and wishes, and a lot of loose ends that couldn’t be wrapped up fast enough. I know for a fact that Lee would like to revisit his character Ned, and I don’t doubt the rest of the cast and crew would mind it either. For a while they haven’t had the money or reason for a reboot, so let’s show them they have their target audience and give them a reason.

Think of the potential the show has in these days with our generation and how much more it will have with the evolution of TV shows in general.
