Dudes no one is saying boys shouldn’t watch steven universe we’re saying don’t let them code it into something it’s not ie. masculine. It’s like what bronies did to mlp, making its fandom a space that became utterly unsafe for a lot of people.
This show is super progressive and having the fandom go in that direction won’t be doing it any favors.
like. there’s a difference between male MLP fans, and bronies.
everyone knows what the difference is. don’t even play and pretend we don’t know what the difference is. we’re saying we don’t want unsafeness and grossness to happen to SU. that is all.
